Lair of the Shadow Broker trailer is up.

And FTR the drell getting tortured and maybe killed is not Thane or his son, it's most likely Ferron (I think that it's how it's spelled), the drell who helped Liara in Mass Effect: Redemption comic book series and is the friend Liara talks about in the game and the DLC.

Also I found this bit info on the Bioware message boards:

Quote:
Chris Priestly wrote...

Ok, some people have been asking when the Lair of the Shadowbroker DLC "takes place" in Mass Effect 2. As in can you play it before the suicide mission or only after.

I went to the font of knowledge (the Mass Effect writers) and asked them. They said:

"Like many of our missions, you can do the Shadowbroker DLC before or after the suicide mission. However, because we understood that most players would be coming to this after the suicide mission, we weighted the dialog much more heavily toward the assumption that the player had already completed it."

So, you CAN do it before you do the suicide mission, but you'll get a different (and possibly more flavorful) reaction if you play it after.

Hope this makes sense.

Mass Effect 2 PS3 exclusive content clarification

Basically it sounds like PS3 users will get the following: the full version of Mass Effect 2 and some of the DLC on the disc The Cerberus Network, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Kasumi: Stolen Memories, Overlord, andBlood Dragon Armor.

The other DLC Firewalker, Zaheed: The Price of Revenge, and the various weapons and armor DLC I don't know about. Chances are PS3 users are going to have buy this through the PS Store.

They will also get via the Cerberus Network an interactive comic book by Dark Horse that sounds like it will fill PS3 gamers in on and choose the outcomes of major events of Mass Effect 1.

Read the link that I posted for all the info.

The release date for Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 (1-11-11) that I mentioned earlier it's not the official release date, that was what Gamestop.com listed it. I don't think Bioware has yet to announce the official release date other than sometime in January 2011.

Mass Effect 3 outed on EA store and was quickly yanked.

It's been announced that a Bioware game (rumors are that it might the teaser to either Mass Effect 3 or a Mass Effect FPS spin-off) will be announced at the VGA (Video Games Awards) 2010 show on Spike TV.
Also Mass Effect 2 is nominated for about for several VGA awards including:
Best Game of the Year
Best Studio of the Year-Bioware
Best Xbox 360 Game of Year
Best PC Game of the Year
Best RPG of the Year
Best Original Musical Score of the Year
Best Performance By A Human Male-Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man
Best Performance BY A Human Female-Jennifer Hale as Female Shepard and Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda Lawson
Best DLC Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker

The first teaser to Mass Effect 3 is now up!

All I will say is it doesn't look good for London.

Looks awesome! I presume "holiday 2011" means it's still a year away from release though?

took a whack at the demo for ps3, i kind wish they'd release the first one though because the whole "previously on Mass Effect 2" thing was kinda lost on me. the game itself looks interesting, though im not crazy about the weapon wheel.

overall, based on demo 7.5/10. in terms of RPG/Shooters, i still like borderlands better, but i still have yet to play the whole game.

The weapons and powers wheels do take some getting used to but there is a way to switch between two weapons with out using the weapons on the Xbox 360 the wheel First go to weapons wheel and select the weapons for example the shotgun and the pistol then hold the "A" button and you can change between the shotgun and the pistol just be careful the "A" button is also the reloading button hold it too long and you may get the weapons switch at the wrong time and you can hot key the powers to R1, L1 and I think the "Y" buttons.

I'm still downloading the demo for the PS3.

6 months too late to be worth buying. Lets face it, it's only been released because it's just re-released on the PS3. Would rather have an update on ME3 or DA2 than this pointless piece of DLC.

You can read more about it here.
